Supply Chain Program Manager

DESCRIPTION

As a Program Manager within Supply Chain, you will own Outbound Optimization for the Amazon AU network. You will have a holistic view of inventory placement, Fulfillment Center (FC) operations and transport operations and be an integral part in creating and implementing large scale strategic initiatives in fulfillment optimisation, delivery speed, delivery quality and transportation cost – all with the goal of better serving our customers. There will rarely be a perfect solution, so it will be up to you to make data driven decisions and manage stakeholder relationships while planning and executing within an ever-changing environment.

Interfacing with AU FC Operations, Transportation, Business and Tech teams the role demands strong analytical and mathematical capabilities, analysing various supply chain data and metrics to aid in configuring our network to provide the best customer experience at the lowest cost to serve and look into our fulfillment system/logic and optimize our outbound process. You’ll be able to contribute directly to our customers’ experience with the Amazon supply chain, impact speed of delivery to millions of customers, and reduce fulfillment costs while maximizing free cash flow.

Core responsibilities are as follows:
– Own supply chain network systems configurations for our Fulfillment centers, Middle Mile and Last Mile networks,
– Work closely with Placement team to Forecast and monitor Local Fulfillment metrics,
– Partner with Global teams on system feature/logic improvements, and with local team on process improvements,
– Lead systems configuration upgrade projects,
– Manage transport costs to reduce Amazon overall cost to serve.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– Completed Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University,
– 3+ years in program or project management experience,
– Experience in working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams,
– Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization,
– Ability to prepare, report and analyse large sets of data,
– Knowledge in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL at a medium level,
– Experience defining program requirements including using data and metrics to determine improvements,
– Knowledge of Tableau at an intermediate level (ability to create reports).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience,
– Experience in driving process improvements,
– Professional experience in either supply chain and logistics, transportation, operations, and/or e-commerce industries .
