The Role

Our Leeton site in rural NSW is an centre of excellence for fresh produce processing.

The site processes fruit from more than 100 suppliers to produce our chilled juice and fruit-based products. This includes around 40,000 tonnes of locally grown oranges a year, mostly from the Riverina region, including around Griffith and Leeton.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Team Leader, this role is to support the manufacturing processes by assisting in the operation of juice extraction processes, juice pasteurisation, inbound and outbound material movements whilst ensuring safety, quality, and environmental standards.

This role has a mix of day and afternoon shifts, 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with drivers to load and unload fruits/juices and enter the data in the system
  • Running Juice extraction equipment and completing quality checks
  • Pasteurisation process and quality checks
  • Testing of inbound and outbound juice
  • Accurate completion and recording of all quality, testing, and production-related documents.
  • Ensure production areas are cleaned up to quality standards
  • Adhere to company safety and quality policies and procedures.

About you

  • Experience in a manufacturing /warehouse environment
  • Boiler operation and knowledge of SAP would be a bonus
  • Positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
  • Basic computer and numeracy skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Forklift Licence – Good to have.
