Position Summary:

To transport freight to and from stations and hub facilities and/or pickup and delivery of large, skidded freight and/or multiple-piece skidded shipments in a safe and responsible manner and with a sense of urgency. Responsibilities also include the regular operation of power material handling equipment for proper loading, weight balancing, and sequencing of unit loading devices.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • High school diploma
  • Twelve (12) months of heavy vehicle driving experience preferred
  • Class AZ (Class 1) driver’s license with good driving record required
  • Ability to operate manual transmission required
  • Air brake certification required
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Organizational skills, especially on the road
  • Analytical ability
  • Must be able to communicate effectively between hub, station facility management, and dispatch
  • Must be receptive and adaptable to change

Shift: Monday-Friday
Wage: $22.58/hour, Weekly paychecks, Benefits package, Employees Discount, Tuition reimbursement
