Americas Retail Operations Manager

Job description:

Position Information

The Retail Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the Head of Retail in coordinating retail initiatives throughout the Ferrari stores within the US market.  This includes not only operational but also logistical support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports the definition and implementation of store operations and company procedures/ guidelines within the Ferrari Store network (i.e. stock, cash and discount procedures, inventories, customer care issues/ maintenance).
  • Identifies and implements corrective actions where necessary should there be a breakdown of any of the aforementioned guidelines.
  • Coordinates all logistic and administrative activities regarding the organization of Retail promotions, sales, as well as temporary Retail events (i.e. Pebble Beach, Family and Friends)
  • Coordinate and manage all training activities for the sales staff.
  • Provide support and coordination for the open or closing of stores in the Ferrari Store network, from activating cash registers and defining uniforms to furnishing consumables and close out procedures.
  • Perform additional tasks related to business development, account openings and day-to-day support as needed.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Educational/Training Requirement:

  • BA or BS degree with a minimum 3 years of experience in retail, luxury retail.

Experience

  • 3+ years of luxury retail merchandising experience
  • Experience working with international brands is a plus

Licenses/Certifications:  N/A

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Extremely strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to meaningfully interact with retail stores and HQ points of contact
  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic, ever changing environment
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
