Housekeeping Supervisor

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of public areas and guests rooms/ suites, leaving a positive impact on the guest experience through the active supervision of room attendants. He/she is responsible for the daily housekeeping operations, ensures sufficient supplies and maintains cleaning standards of all areas.

Primary Responsibilities

Maintains the cleanliness of hotel premises and guests rooms

  • Supervises the upkeep of the entire property premises to maintain an immaculate and luxurious state according to the property Brand standards. Priority and full attention are to be given for VIP arrivals.
  • Ensures the smooth operations of all Housekeeping sections
  • Ensures all rooms are well maintained and cleaned according to standards.
  • Ensures all crash programmes are observed by the team.
  • Conducts room checks on cleanliness before room is released for new arrivals.
  • Inspects occupied rooms.
  • Ensures guests corridors are clean, well maintained and neat at all times.
  • Ensures room attendants have sufficient supplies for room making.

Provide a guest experience that exceeds residents’ & guests’ expectations

  • Ensures guests receive the experiences as per Brand Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), local SOPs as well as Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards, and aims to achieve the targets set by management.
  • Analyses and responds to guest feedback to ensure that guests are satisfied. Is continuously committed to improving the quality of products, services and performance of team members
  • Supervision of the Housekeeping Team
  • He/she will focus on the well-being, safety, training and development needs of colleagues.
  • Supports team during high house with room making when required.
  • Able to support Housekeeping Coordinator from time to time.
