As key members of our team, you will collaborate closely with our integrated strategists and other talented and creative minds across editorial, content creation, sales and marketing.

Your Role

As the Art Director and Copywriter duo, you’ll be the driving force behind strategically-charged ideas that set new standards for creativity. Your role is pivotal in developing integrated campaign ideas that span various platforms from digital, print, mobile, events, social media, podcasts, magazines, and more.

What You’ll Achieve

  • Elevate Creativity: You will be the masterminds behind award-winning ideas that meet clients’ goals, connect with New Zealanders, and leverage the brands and platforms in Stuff’s ecosystem.
  • Fuel Revenue Growth: Your strategic creativity will support Harakeke in securing and expanding revenue streams, thanks to campaigns that break new ground.
  • Collaborative Concepts: By tapping into the wealth of talent within our cross-functional teams, including Commercial Content, Editorial, Data and Insights, and Integration Strategists, you’ll create concepts that work with and leverage our internal strengths.

What You’ll Bring

Creative Prowess:

  • Craft impactful, scaleable ideas that solve clients’ problems
  • Create channel-neutral ideas that can live in our brand ecosystem as well as in other external media channels such as TV and OOH.
  • Drive innovation and clever storytelling.
  • Write engaging copy, headlines, and storytelling that captivate our audience’s hearts.
  • Give life to visual elements, from concept to final materials, collaborating with and guiding other creatives such as designers, videographers, photographers, and more.

Project Leadership

  • Collaborate with strategists and brief owners to align with project objectives.
  • Present your creative concepts to clients to generate new business.
  • Handle multiple projects at once, delivering quality work on time.

Strategic Innovation

  • Partner with our strategy and data team for insight-driven creative solutions.
  • Collaborate across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to advertising and media award entries that showcase our excellence.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Creative agency experience, or marketing communications agency experience.
  • Showcase your portfolio of successful creative projects.
  • Ability to bring forth visually compelling ideas aligned with client objectives.
  • Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Stellar communication skills and a desire to collaborate.
  • Can evolve creative concepts based on feedback.
  • Thrive under multiple project demands while maintaining creativity.
  • Stay ahead with industry trends and innovations.
