Job Description

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the control room, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Monitor and control transport activities through advanced control systems, complying with operational protocols.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with various departments to maintain seamless communication and operational continuity.
  • Monitor effective transport operational plans in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Analyse transport data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process optimization.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the timely servicing and repair of transport vehicles and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of transport activities, including incident reports, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation.

Education Qualification:
a) Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

b) Proven experience in transport operations management, preferably in a control room environment.

Work Experience:
a) Years of Experience: 5 years in logistics related industry

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Proficient in MS office, ERP & using advanced control systems / software for transport management.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Leadership qualities with a focus on fostering teamwork and collaboration.
  • Sound decision-making capabilities, even under pressure.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team setting.
