Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant

This Part Time Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teaching Assistant role is based at a lovely Primary School in the Sunderland area.

About the role

This is a part-time role, of which the successful candidate will be expected to work, Monday-Friday and the hours will be 08.30 – 12.30. This role is based in the schools Key Stage 2 (KS2) and the candidate will be working with a full classroom of KS2 pupils with mixed abilities. The candidate will be expected to work one to one in and out of the classroom as well as delivering small group interventions. This role is until the New Year with a view to be extended upon review.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant you will:

  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Teaching Assistant or equivalent (Level 2 plus ideally)
  • Knowledge of working within Key Stage 2 (KS2)

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Teaching Assistant or equivalent (Level 2 plus ideally)
